The fourth call of the Women TechEU programme is now open, inviting early-stage, female-led deep tech startups to apply before 4 August 2025 at 17:00 CEST. This initiative, funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme, aims to empower women founders working at the forefront of technological innovation.
What is Women TechEU?
Women TechEU is a two-year EU-funded programme designed to foster gender equity in deep tech entrepreneurship. Over four calls, the programme will select a total of 160 women-led startups and support them through:
- Equity-Free Grants: Each selected company will receive €75,000 in non-dilutive funding to accelerate their business growth.
- Business Acceleration Services: Startups will gain access to personalised mentoring, coaching and training, delivered through the European Innovation Council’s Women Leadership Programme.
- Networking Opportunities: Participants will benefit from connections across Europe’s innovation ecosystem, including potential investors, partners and industry experts.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to deep tech startups that are:
- Founded or co-founded by women in top management positions (e.g. CEO, CTO).
- At the pre-seed or seed stage of development.
- Based in an EU Member State or a Horizon Europe Associated Country.
