
What are the Supernovas Investment Forums?
- For investors: Stimulating 90 minutes events to meet the best women-led startups, to grasp the potential of the opportunityand evaluate fit with investors’ strategy and portfolio. After the meeting, Supernovas will support you in identifying other interested investors in the startups presenting and to explore the next steps.
- For startups: A unique opportunity to reach out to international investors after a carefully curated process that includes support to fine-tune your presentation deck to an international crowd of investors and support in your fundraising after the event.
What kind of startups will participate?
- Female founded (at least a woman in the founding team) or female-led startups (female CEO).
- Sector& Focus: in 2025 we will organize 3 investment forums: Manufacturing (May 14th); Food & Health (May 28th) and Mobility & Energy (June 11th).
The calls for startups wishing to participate in our 2025 Forums are now open for all 3 forums until April 6th (Manufacturing), April 27th (Agrifood and Health) and May 11th (Mobility &Energy).

In the Manufacturing Investment Forum, investors will be able to meet startups with the following requirements:
- Focus & sectors: Additive Manufacturing / 3D printing, Advanced Sensors, Battery / Hydrogen / Energy Storage, CO2 Capture / Utilization & Storage, CO2 eq. Tracking, Computer Vision / Quality Control / Assurance, Connectivity / IoT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics / AI / ML, Electronics and Semiconductors, Health and Safety, Logistics / Asset Tracking, Mixed and Extended Reality / VR / AR, Plastic and Metal components, Platform business / Marketplace, Prescriptive and predictive analytics, Production Planning / Flexible production systems, Recycling / Reuse / Remanufacturing, Robotics, Simulation / Digital Twins / Advanced Engineering Tools.
- Female founded (at least a woman in the founding team) or women-led startups (female CEO).
- Funds sought from 500.000 to 5 million euros.
Startups
For the Mobility and Energy Investment Forum, we are looking for startups with the following requirements:
- Focus & sectors: Active mobility, City logistics, Urban air mobility, Waterway transportation & Water logistics, Connected & Autonomous vehicles, Sensors & training data, Public realm for mobility, Energy infrastructure for mobility, Sustainable buildings and cities, Energy and mobility products for circular economy, Energy storage, Energy efficiency, Renewable energies, Smart electric grid.
- Female founded (at least a woman in the founding team) or women-led startups (female CEO).
- Funds sought from 500.000 to 5 million euros.
Startups
For the Food & Health Investment Forum , we are looking for startups with the following requirements:
- Focus & sectors: Sustainable agriculture (carbon farming & digital and precision farming), Alternative proteins and biotechnologies (including Cellular & plant-based proteins), Digital and traceability solutions, Circularity, food waste reduction, and upcycling, Targeted nutrition and food as medicine, Disruptive e-health, Longevity and Silver Economy.
- Female founded (at least a woman in the founding team) or women-led startups (female CEO).
- Funds sought from 500.000 to 5 million euros.
Investors
We welcome angel investors, venture capital funds and other private investors such as corporations and family businesses active in the early-stage investment space and committed to increasing their share in female founders in their portfolio. Targeted investors are looking for up to Series A deals in Europe and across a variety of sectors.
Supernovas offers startups a careful balance in terms of the degree of maturity and development of the products, geographical diversity, market size and business areas. Startups have been carefully selected by the EIT programme SUPERNOVAS from its broad network of high and deeptech partners in the ecosystem and is supported by a seasoned panel of investors to shortlist and select the most promising startups.
