• What is EIT Community Supernovas?

  EIT Community Supernovas is a collaborative network of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s (EIT) long-term partnerships (KICs), working together to drive systemic change across key areas like climate change, energy, health, food, manufacturing, mobility, raw materials, digitalisation, urban mobility, culture, and creativity. The initiative is led by EIT Food, EIT Manufacturing, and EIT Urban Mobility.

• Who can join Supernovas programmes?

  Women from the EU and Horizon Europe can participate. All programmes are designed to empower women startup founders and women investors.

• What programmes do you offer?

  We currently run four main programmes:

  • Women2Invest – for women with a STEAM background transitioning into venture capital.
  • VC Academy – for women looking to build and strengthen their venture capital skills.
  • Business Angels Academy – for women looking to become angel investors, or for current angels looking to improve their investment thesis and expand their networks.
  • Rocket Up – for women startup founders ready to expand into another market in the EU.

•  How can I apply to a programme?

  If you’re interested, you can sign up via the main page, or subscribe to the newsletter to receive notifications about upcoming calls.

• Is there a cost to participate?

  All Supernovas programmes are free of charge for participants from the EU and Horizon Europe.

• Can I attend Supernovas events even if I’m not in a programme?

  Yes! Many of our events, including networking sessions, and side events at conferences, are open to women founders, investors, and ecosystem builders.
