The programme is designed for women with a STEAM background in science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics at the undergraduate, master’s, or PhD level.

Applicants must hold a valid passport or full residency permit from either one of the 27 EU Member States or a Horizon Europe Associated Country. Associated countries include Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
*The asterisk reflects the EU’s standard disclaimer on Kosovo’s political status. For Horizon Europe and this programme, Kosovo is considered eligible. Please note that if your residency permit does not include a work permit, this may limit your ability to participate in the internship component of the programme.
The programme is delivered as an online bootcamp, enabling participants to join remotely from anywhere. It combines live online lectures, case studies, practical assignments, group and individual work, and sessions with experienced practitioners, while also offering networking opportunities and exposure to the venture capital ecosystem. The expected time commitment is approximately 5 hours per week.
The next cohort of the Women2Invest programme starts on September 2026, the application will be open from April 2026 to June 2026.
The training lasts for approximately 15 weeks.
Yes. Participants who perform strongly in the training programme and meet the requirements of participating VC or corporate funds may be shortlisted for interviews and potentially offered paid internships. These internships are paid (at least the minimum legal wage in the host country), last for a minimum of two months, and focus on investment-related roles. While placements are not guaranteed, the programme is designed to maximize participants’ chances through training and targeted fund matching.
No prior experience in venture capital is required. A strong interest in investment and startups, along with a willingness to learn, is all you need to apply.
