Upcoming Info Webinar: 2026 European Prize for Women Innovators

On 24 June 2025, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) will host an online information session for those interested in applying to the 2026 European Prize for Women Innovators.

This prize, a joint initiative of the EIT and EIC, recognises outstanding women entrepreneurs from the EU and Horizon Europe-associated countries who are leading innovative ventures with strong societal and environmental impact.

The application period for the 2026 edition opens on 17 June 2025. This dedicated info webinar will walk you through the process and provide guidance to submit a strong application.

What to expect from the webinar

Date: 24 June 2025
Time: 11:00–12:00 CEST
Location: Online

During this one-hour session, attendees will:

  • Get practical advice from a former Jury Member on how to prepare a strong application
  • Receive a detailed explanation of the application and award procedures for each prize category
  • Hear the experience of a 2025 award winner


The webinar provides the perfect opportunity to prepare, ask questions and gain insight from previous applicants, winners and jury members.

About the prize categories

The European Prize for Women Innovators awards up to €100,000 across three categories:

  • EIC Women Innovators: Open to all women founders or co-founders from the EU or associated countries.
    Prizes: €100,000 / €70,000 / €50,000
  • EIC Rising Innovators: For promising young innovators under 35.
    Prizes: €50,000 / €30,000 / €20,000
  • EIT Women Leadership: For women with a direct link to the EIT Community or one of its Knowledge and Innovation Communities.
    Prizes: €50,000 / €30,000 / €20,000

Who should apply?

If you are a woman entrepreneur supported by EIT Food, EIT Manufacturing or EIT Urban Mobility, and meet the eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply to the EIT Women Leadership category. This is a unique opportunity to gain high-level recognition and amplify your impact across Europe.
